Barbara H. (Joyce) Hobin of Kingston age 85 formerly of Dorchester passed away peacefully at the Life Care Center in Plymouth after a short illness.Barbara attended and graduated from Boston City Hospital School of Nursing and became a registered nurse and worked at the Boston City Hospital for over 30 years. She loved golfing and bowling and was a member of the Town and Country Association in Kingston. She enjoyed the family times at the "Hobin Open" Golf Tournament in South Yarmouth every year. Beloved wife of the late Thomas J. Hobin Sr. retired District Chief Boston F.D. Daughter of the late Michael and Helen (Paige) Joyce. Loving mother of  Thomas J. Hobin Jr. and his wife Carol of Quincy, Michael J Hobin Q.F.D. and his wife Janice of Marshfield, Joyce Slaven and her husband David of Holbrook, Edward "Ned" Hobin B.F.D. and his wife Laura of Quincy, Gerard Hobin B.F.D. and his wife Justine of Plymouth, Maryellen Power and her husband Joseph of Braintree, and Matthew Hobin and his wife Sheila of Braintree.  Sister and best friend of the late Rosemary Logan of Whitman. Also survived by 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren and a large extended family. Sister in-law of Pat (Hobin) Falter of Watertown.

Visiting hours in the Bartlett-Santos Funeral Home 338 Court St. (Rte. 3A) Plymouth Tuesday May 29th  4-8 PM.

Funeral Mass in St. Joseph's Church 270 Main St Kingston on Wednesday May 30th at 10 AM. Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.

Interment Mass National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara's memory to Ronald McDonald's House of Connecticut 501 George St. New Haven, CT 06511
