Christopher Hammond

Christopher David Hammond, 47 of Framingham, formerly of Middleboro, passed peacefully on May 26, 2012 after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Colleen (Johnson) Hammond and devoted son of Valerie Murphy and the late John Hammond, Sr. Christopher grew up in Middleboro, and was an avid Boston sports fan. He enjoyed family gatherings, horseshoe tournaments and spending time with his grandchildren. He was predeceased by his father John Hammond, Sr. and survived by his mother Valerie Murphy and her husband Charles of Bridgewater. His four sons, Christopher Hammond of Framingham, Kevin Hammond of Framingham, Daniel Hammond of Dennis, and Kenneth Hammond of South Carolina. Four step-children Amanda Cote, Holly Cote, Heather Johnson-Cote and Benjamin Cote all of Framingham. Brother of Vincent Hammond and his wife Mary of Buzzards Bay, John Hammond, Jr. and his wife Tina of Middleboro. Also survived by four grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
