Christopher Murphy

Christopher “Chris” D. Murphy of Whitman May 29, 2011. He was 35. Son of Lawrence T. and Georgiana M. (Tatalias) Murphy of Whitman. Brother of Scott A. Murphy of Whitman. Chris was a member of Local 103 IBEW working as a Union Journeyman Electrician. He is a graduate of Whitman-Hanson High School. Chris participated in Charity Benefits events and motorcycle rides. He loved antiques, golf, his motorcycle, music and playing guitar. Chris had pet goats and walked them around town, and was known as “the goat man”. He loved spending time with family and friends and will be greatly missed by all.
Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman Thursday June 2 nd 4-8 pm.
Funeral Mass Friday in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 9 am.
Interment at Blue Hills Cemetery, Braintree.
