Estelle Darmetko

September 9, 1933 — December 28, 2019

Estelle J. (Panit) Darmetko, 86 of Rockland, passed away December 28, 2019. She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Charles J. Darmetko. Loving mother of Thomas Darmetko and his wife Patricia of Kingston; Gerald Darmetko and his wife Sandra of Whitman; David Darmetko and his wife Sandy of Abington; Susan Vasilakis and her husband Steve of Randolph; Joseph Darmetko and his wife Maureen of Newburgh, NY; and Judy Powers and her husband Bob of Whitman. Sister of Ann Leahy of Lakeville, Leo Panit of Georgia, and the late Joseph Panit. Grandmother of 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

Estelle was a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School in Dorchester. She was a former employee of New England Calculating and Simply Whispers. Nothing gave her more pleasure than spending time with her loved ones. A loving and giving woman, she took extreme pleasure in traditions and hosting family holidays. By her humble example she taught her children the importance of a close family. She instantly created warm relationships with anyone she came in contact with. She was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by many.
