James Rock

James S. Rock of Whitman passed away Saturday July 10, 2021, He was 73. James was born in Brockton son of the late Albin and Dorothy (Cabral) Rock.  Jim was a graduate from MA College of Art with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts in 1971. He was an artist and sculptor. He owned his own construction company for many years called Rock Reno.  He did several forms of work but was most known for fine finish carpentry. He enjoyed dancing, shopping for antiques and eating lobster.

He is survived by his life partner Rosemarie K. Lanchester of Whitman. Brother of Elaine Lindroth of Savanah, GA, Marie Rock of Sudbury and David Rock.

Relatives and friends invited to attend visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Thursday July 22 ^nd 3-6 pm.
