Jeanne Harrington

Jeanne M. (Schmitt) Harrington of Whitman passed away Sunday August 29, 2010 at her home surrounded by her family. She had battled cancer for over 6 years. She was 52. Jeanne was a lifetime resident of Whitman. She was a member of the Whitman Women’s Auxiliary at the American Legion. Past vice president of Whitman Youth Football. She was also a crossing guard in Whitman for a number of years. She loved going camping and enjoyed summers on the Cape.
She is survived by her husband Kenneth F. Harrington. Her children Patrick C. and his fiancé Kimberly of Bridgewater, and Derek R. Harrington of Whitman. Daughter of Robert H. and his wife Grace (Spagna) Schmitt of Whitman. Sister of Theresa Pagnini of Whitman and Catherine Schmitt Lindquist of Kingston.
Visiting hours will be on Wednesday Sept. 1 st in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., WHITMAN from 4-8 pm.
A Funeral Mass will be on Thursday at 10 am in Holy Ghost Church in Whitman.
Interment will be private.
