Jennifer Overstreet

Jennifer M. (Mueller) Overstreet age 26 of Whitman died August 15, 2011 following a courageous battle with Breast Cancer. Jen was born in Malden and raised in Whitman. She was a graduate of Whitman-Hanson Regional High School Class of 2003, where she was instrumental in allowing an additional 449 students statewide to become eligible for diplomas after her discovery of a second correct answer on an MCAS question. Jen enjoyed the Red Sox, Michael Jackson music, family gatherings, but most importantly spending quality time with her husband and daughter. Jen was also a Reiki Master-a certificate she was inspired to obtain following her diagnosis of Breast Cancer, so she could offer comfort to others in her same situation.

She was the beloved wife of Matthew R. Overstreet and devoted mother of Fiona R. Overstreet. She is also survived by her parents Laura (Forte) Hollis and William Hollis of Whitman, and Jeffrey and Laurie Mueller of Caribou, ME. Sister of Kristina Mueller and Joseph Hollis of Whitman. Granddaughter of Carol and Earl Burton of Revere, and Pasquale and Pamela Forte of Fullerton, CA. Niece of Debra Kaake and her husband Doug of Plymouth. Also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Friday Aug. 19 ^th 4-8 pm.

A viewing will also be held on Saturday 9-10:45 am followed by a Service in the Funeral Home at 11 am. . Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Interment at Colebrook Cemetery in Whitman.
