John P. Goslin, age 46 of Hanover formerly of Quincy passed into eternal life Thursday March 1, 2012. John was born in Boston, and a graduate of ArchBishop Williams High School. He also attended Mass. Maritime Academy where he played lacrosse and Wentworth Institute of Technology. John worked on the building of many projects including; The Big Dig Central Artery Tunnel, Black Rock Country Club in Hingham, and working on the Steam Ship Authority new dock at Oak Bluffs. He currently worked as a Field Supervisor for NSTAR. John was a Cub Master for Cub 37 and also Assistant Scout Master for Troop 38 in Hanover. He was a communicant and coordinator of the Sunday Program of St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church in Hanover. John was a Coach for Hanover Football and Lacrosse Coach since 1996 and in 2011 winning the Championship in Lacrosse and known his famous quote “One Team”. He also loved fishing. He is survived by his beloved wife and sweetheart Karen (Cronin) Goslin, and their children Sean and Julia all of Hanover. Son of  Catherine (Finnegan) Goslin-Costa of Quincy and the late John P. Goslin. Brother of William Goslin of Plymouth, Kathleen Chisholm of South Weymouth, and Kevin Goslin of Norwell. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, 392 Hanover St., Hanover on Monday Mar. 5 th 2-4 and 6-8 pm. Relatives and friends invited to attend.

Funeral Mass on Tuesday at 10 am in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church . Interment will be private.
