Joseph Pina, Jr.

Joseph Pina, Jr., 88 of Hanson passed away January 6, 2022. Joseph was born Oct. 11. 1933 in Hanson to Joseph B. Pina (Benny) and Lillian (Pina) Silva. He was raised by his mother, grandparents Frank and Catherine Pina and stepfather Joseph Silva. He resided in the town of Hanson until Oct. 2020 where he was a resident of Webster Park Rehab. And Healthcare until his passing.

Joseph worked harvesting cranberries, then was an employee of Wheeler Reflector and Light Control. Joseph was a spiritual man, who loved people and life. He is survived by his stepbrother Joseph Silva of Whitman, stepsister Rita Strand of Philadelphia, PA, a niece, nephews, and cousins.

Services will be private due to the Corona Virus.

There will be a private burial at St. James Cemetery in Whitman for family and close friends on Thursday January 20th at 10 am.
