A retired and much admired Boston Police detective, Leo proudly served 32 years with the BPD. A highly decorated police officer and detective, he was a recipient of the George Hanna Award, the Commissioner's Award, and a Governor's Citation for his years of service. Although he achieved immeasurable professional success, his family was his first and fiercest love.

Leo was a selfless, compassionate man, the epitome of goodness, a loyal and loving friend and well-respected and proud police officer. He touched countless lives, and those who were lucky enough to know and love him are all the richer for having had him in their lives. Leo once said that, “even the baddest among us have good in them.” May that be his legacy - To always look for the good - just as Leo did, and surely you will find it too.
