Louise M. (Dailey) Costello, of Whitman, formerly of Milton, passed away peacefully Wednesday November 21, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Joseph and Elizabeth (McGrath) Dailey. Louise was born in Boston and she was a graduate of Archbishop Williams High School. She received an Associate degree in Business from Massasoit College.  She was a former employee for Boston Edison and retired from Talbots after 20 years of service as an analyst.  Louise was an active member of Holy Ghost Church, the Whitman Senior Center, and former manager of the St. Francis Thrift Shop. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and listening to Irish music.

She is survived by her loving husband Thomas J. Costello. Her children Brian J. Costello and his wife Michelle of Weymouth, Christopher T. Costello and his wife Amy of Hanson, and Maura E. Costello-Choi and her husband Steven of Baltimore, MD. Sister of William Dailey of Abington, John Dailey of Tewksbury, Jean Grabau of Milton, and the late Anna Alarcon. Grandmother of Liam. Also survived by many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., Whitman on Sunday Nov. 25 th 4-8 pm.

A Funeral mass will be on Monday in Holy Ghost Church in Whitman at 9 am. Relatives and friends invited to attend. Interment at St. James Cemetery in Whitman.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in memory of Louise to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Breast Cancer Treatment Center 9 th floor, 450 Brookline Avenue, Boston, MA  02215.
