Margaret Dubis

April 27, 1936 — October 4, 2010

Margaret Ann (Langton) Dubis, 74, of Chatham, Summerfield, Fla., and of late Plymouth, passed away peacefully on Oct. 4, 2010, at the Golden Living Nursing Home in Plymouth.

The wife of the late Frank B. Dubis Sr. and daughter of the late Thomas H. Langton and Helen G. Caton (Howes) of Chatham, she was born, raised and grew up on Cape Cod.

Prior to retirement, she worked summers at the Chatham Bakery where she enjoyed greeting all her regular customers every morning.

She is survived by her six children, Frank Dubis Jr. and his wife Patty of Natick, Thomas Dubis of Plymouth, Ruth (Dubis) Avellar of Plymouth, Margaret (Dubis) Eldredge and her husband Ralph of Summerfield, Fla., Elizabeth (Dubis) Scampoli and her husband Anthony of Plymouth, and Michael Dubis of Citra, Fla.; along with 14 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Margaret was the sister of Florence Bamforth of Brewster and Helen Coyte of Bridgewater.

A private family service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Oct. 8, 2010, at Peoples Cemetery in Chatham.
