Martha Wirzburger

Martha “Pat” T. (Keleher) Wirzburger of Easton formerly of Bridgewater and Whitman passed away August 18, 2010 at age 90. Former wife of the late Albert H. Wirzburger. Martha was born and raised in Canton. She was a former Club Champ of Strawberry Valley Golf Course, former Religious Ed. Director, member of the original pastoral council, and past prefect of BVM Sodality at Holy Ghost Church. Former member of the ladies auxiliary of Whitman Fire Dept. She enjoyed playing bingo and golf, and spending time with friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 6 children David H. Wirzburger and his wife Lucia of Nashua, NH, Mary E. Bixby and her husband James of Holbrook, Stephen E. Wirzburger and his wife Deirdre of Hanson, Anne L. Monticone and her husband Paul of Hanson, Ellen M. McDonough and her husband William of Hanson, and Peter J. Wirzburger and his wife Donna of New Bedford. Sister of Paul Keleher of Canton, Esther Waller of Edgartown, MA, and the late Daniel Keleher, Anna Harrington and Eloise Gay. She was also the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren.

Visiting hours in the MacKinnon Funeral Home, 760 Washington St., WHITMAN on Friday Aug. 20 ^th 4-8 pm.

Funeral Mass will be on Saturday in Holy Ghost Church, Whitman at 9 am.

Interment at St. James Cemetery in Whitman.
