Nancy Daneault

February 18, 1932 — October 11, 2011

Nancy Loraine (Sherman) Daneault of Whitman passed away peacefully with dignity and grace October 11, 2011 at her Granddaughter’s Shelly’s home in New Bedford after a brief illness, with family by her side. Nancy was married to Henry W. Daneault who predeceased her in 2002, and was the mother of two daughters Carol A. Bolton and her husband Frederick of Stonington, ME and Marcia J. Pace and her husband Bernard of Abington. She was also the proud grandmother of seven, Shelley, Bernard, Jr., Sheila, Katie, Kevin, Joshua and Stephanie. Great grandmother of ten Riley, Sophia, Olivia, Nicholas, Damien, Brook-Lynne, Andrew, Christopher, Isabella and Jillian. She was the daughter of the late Harold and Eleanor (Boyce) Sherman.  Sister of Nelson Sherman of Mansfield, June Cantoni of Waterford Ct, and the late Ralph Sherman. Also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Nancy graduated from Howard High School in West Bridgewater class of 1950, and worked as a seamstress by trade for many years and retired from BayBanks of Dedham as a switchboard operator. She was a member of the First Congregational Church of Whitman, member of the Pythian Sisters, JA Hill of Stoughton. She was an avid follower of the Red Sox, Patriots, and the Bruins, and her passion for creating was done with sewing, knitting and crocheting.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday October 18 th at 11 am at Northville Cemetery in East Bridgewater, with Rev, Kristy Colburn officiating.
