Robert Cunningham

Robert Harold Cunningham, 24, of Brockton, and most recently North Attleboro, passed away August 24, 2016. Robert was a member of the Brockton High School Class of 2010, and attended Massasoit Community College. He is survived by his loving mother, Katherine, father, Drew, and sisters, Ryann, and Maeghan, He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Robert Bassett, and Chaloratana Bassett, and his aunts Maureen Cunningham, Roberta Bassett, and Violet Lemar. He was the loving grandson of the late Harold and Theresa Cunningham.

Robert was an avid gamer, whose knowledge of video games was apparent to anyone to knew him. He enjoyed spending time researching each new video game before they came out, and made recommendations to his friends who needed advice, He was also a movie enthusiast, who enjoyed spending time analyzing all aspects of movies, and then sharing his analysis with his father, friends and any other family member around. As a young adult, he would often take the T into town to meet up with his father and his Uncle Perry to catch a movie; movies were truly one of his passions.
Robert was also a very caring person. who, along with his Aunt Maureen, cared for his Nana during her final years. He also cared for his maternal grandfather, this time more as a roommate and best friend. He was also protective of his sisters, who - despite sibling fights - are self-described as being “better adults” for having had Robert as their brother. Robert was a good son, who loved his family very much. He was also a good friend, and will be deeply, and profoundly missed by family and friends alike.
