Sinclair A. Moorefield, 66, of Duxbury, MA passed away peacefully on August 30, 2021. She was born in Newton, MA on July 28, 1955 and raised in Wellesley, MA. She spent her youthful summer weekends in Duxbury, MA with her loving Grandmother Lil and Grandfather Ed Meslis. Sinclair ventured off to Sarasota, FL and started a family with her former husband, Tony Oteri, also of Wellesley. She entered a school for Esthetics and spent many years in the hair salon industry following in the footsteps of her Late, Grandmother Lil. A career in Retail Management followed, working at Bealls in Sarasota, FL for many years. Sinclair’s past times were music, concerts, playing the guitar (self-taught), reading, the great outdoors, Lido Beach, and crossword puzzles. Sinclair was spiritual and attended Church throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter Jamie Lee Magown and her partner Brandon Burnside of Venice, FL and son, Tony Oteri and daughter-in-law Jennifer of Bradenton, FL. She is also survived by Grandchildren Tony and Kirsten of Sarasota, FL, Mother Charlie Moorefield, Aunt Carol, siblings Gaby, Dawn, Kel, Victoria, and many nieces and nephews. She is pre-deceased by her Father Jimmy D. Moorefield and siblings Tracy and Gabrielle.
