Wayne Mcgrady
October 12, 1968 — July 4, 2012
Wayne McGrady passed away on July 4, 2012, after a lifetime filled with laughter and love. He was one of four children born to Frederick "Ted" and Nancy McGrady and was the beloved husband of Jill Lombardo McGrady. Wayne will forever be remembered by brothers Gregg McGrady of Key West, Fla., and Michael Sargeant of Hyannis, as well as his late brother Timothy McGrady. Wayne's free spirit will live on in his children, Maxwell McGrady of Harwich and Allison and Trevor McGrady of Assonet, Mass., along with countless other friends and family whom were blessed to know him.
Wayne loved listening to music, playing the guitar, being with his family, taking care of animals, and above all making everyone laugh.
Wayne touched the lives of many people with his smile and generosity, and maintained his trademark "wonderful most incredible" humor and energy throughout his life. His bigger than life personality, kindness and love touched all whom came in contact with him and will always be remembered.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service to celebrate his life from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday, July 14, at the Harwich Community Center, 100 Oak St., Harwich, MA 02645.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made in memory of Wayne to a trust fund for his son, Maxwell, in care of Jill Lombardo, 88 Noreast Drive, Harwich, MA 02645.
