William Remarski

January 1, 1936 — February 20, 2010

William "Bill" Remarski of East Sandwich passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010, following heart surgery.

Bill was born in Jan. 1, 1936, in Providence, R.I., and raised in Attleboro. Just after high school, Bill joined the Navy where he proudly served his country for many years. After retiring from the Navy, he worked for Ethan Allen Gallery in Hyannis for some time before permanently retiring.

He is survived by a daughter, Kimberly Thibeault, and three grandsons, all of Warwick, R.I.; a sister, Maureen Goodrich of Newport, R.I.; many nieces and nephews; many caring and loving friends; and his partner of 32 years, Jack Boudreau of East Sandwich.

Bill was a member of the American Legion and an avid fan of the New England Patriots. He will be truly missed by his dog, "Buddy," and cat "Toby," and everyone who knew him.

Arrangements were made by MacKinnon Funeral Home in Whitman. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charity of one's choice.
