William J. Walker Sr

June 13, 1942- June 25, 2022

Bill Walker age 80 of Marstons Mills MA, formally of Hingham MA and Quincy MA passed away from cancer on June 25, 2022.

Bill spent his childhood in Quincy with his parents, John and Sidonia, and his three siblings:  Virginia, Dorothy and John.

He joined the Navy and married his high school sweetheart, Paula Marie (Stone) Walker.  Together they had five children:  William Jr, Michael, Susan, Kathleen and James.

Bill was blessed with four grandchildren:  Nicholas, Zachary, Danny and Lindsey and son-in-law, Dan.

Bill had a long career as a loan officer and when he retired, he joined P&B Bus Company as a bus driver.  This proved to be the perfect second act for him.  It truly meshed his natural story telling abilities with his pure love of people.

Bill was happiest while sailing in his sailboat the “Natural High” and hanging out with his friends down at Hewitt’s Cove Marina.  A true animal lover, he had a special place in his heart for his dogs.  Bill loved his family.

Bill was predeceased by some pretty special people.  There is no doubt in our minds that upon his passing, lined up to welcome him to heaven were his parents, John and Sidonia Walker, his sons, William Jr and James, and his grandsons, Nicholas and Zachary.

While his family and friends feel comforted that Bill is no longer suffering, we feel a profound loss with his passing.
